The "NAH NAH" Game

I noticed some websites/blogs have started posting their excitment over receiving this ARC:
Poor lil' old me does not have this ARC and I will have to wait till June like the rest. But I do have these:
Why three is better then one! Now this is coming from the one woman who still doesn't have Blue Eyed Devil! For shame I know. So, let us celebrate the books we have in out TBR piles. If you have a book that you are proud to say "nah nah" look at what I have, let it out for the world to hear!
This is my own form of therapy *G*

You know, it's not very nice to play the "nah nah" game... it's actually ver mean. Luckily, none of the books are ones that I want.

I'm bashful and so happy I can't get a hold of myself.

Sandra Schwab sent me a copy--with a beautiful, sweet note!--of Bewitched.

Can you believe it?

'cause I'm having trouble believing it myself :huge grin:

Nath: I am not trying to be cruel, since others are pimping out their books or giving a cheer about the ones they have, just wanted to be part of the fun . :)

Azteclady: Ohh!! You will have to write a review! I have heard great things about Bewitched.

*pouting here* Can you see me pouting? I so want to read Shades of Dark too! On the other hand - I can do a tiny Nah Nah dance with Hidden as I just recently obtained a copy myself.

I have Bewitched and Sugar Daddy. Not exactly ARCs but I am looking forward to them!

I think I am still too new to all this for ARCs. I have not done enough reviews on my blog for an author to risk sending me one. But someday, oh yes, someday... the ARCs shall be mine!!! muah ha ha!!!!

katie(babs) I will certainly write a review--I don't know how I will sneak it past the few *coughdozenorsocough* books I must review asap or sooner, but I'll manage.

Somehow.

:still grinning like an idiot:

Oh, you lucky lucky girl. *envious sigh*

PLEASE review Hidden as soon as you possibly can! Can't wait to find out if it's as great as Driven.

I wasn't given, but won an ARC of Hotter After Midnight by Cynthia Eden, a new author. The title says it all! Whew! *G*

I received my first ARC recently as well. The Ex Debutant by Linda Francis Lee. I haven't started it yet but it sounds good.

I'm anxious to read your review abut Hidden. I loved Driven and I've been itching to read its follow up.

LOL, totally understand Katie, but don't you find it a bit mood-killing to receive ARC. I mean, I look months ahead to what's coming out and what I'm going to read and getting books in advance, well what are you going to read when the book comes out? Re-read?

I find that even getting books 2 weeks before release date throws me a bit off balance.

Don't worry, Hidden review is in the works ;)

Nath: Sometimes I do feel when I get a book way in advance, I read it like like there is going to be no tomorrow and then when I am done I sit there dumbfounded because I have no one to talk to about it because no one else has it! But part of me can not lie because when I get a book I have been drooling over way in advance I feel special. Maybe there is an underlying need of some sort on my end... maybe I do need some sort of therapy.

And I was talking to someone about Lover Enshrined and she mentioned how much fun it is to wait till the release date because the joy in reading the book will be able to discuss with everyone, which I hope does happen.

And as of now my TBR books are going strong at 30 on my little old work desk. I seriously need to join a book addiction anonymous group.

nath said...

LOL, Katie, 30 is nothing :P Although, i guess I shouldn't be that proud :D by the way, can you email me at natuschan @ gmail . com (without the space). thanks

I am *cough* need to learn how to get ARCS. I always have to wait until I win won. The exception Ilona Andrews and BOY am I glad I jumped on that bandwagon. Now how does one get an ARC?

Sarai said...

Oh I have over 300 in the TBR pile! That's right suckas 300 and some change! HA!

KT Grant said...

Sarai: Sometimes if you ask an author for an interview on your blog, or just write them, they will volunteer a copy for you to read. And you can always contact the publisher in an email or a phone call. *G*
